Dr. Sean Skinner is a native of Seneca Falls New York, home of New York Chiropractic College. He is a 2005 graduate of Ithaca College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Allied Health. He also played four years of football for the Bombers. Dr. Skinner then attended New York Chiropractic College, in Seneca Falls New York, where he became a member of the Phi Chi Omega Chiropractic Scholastic Honor Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude in November of 2008. He started working with Dr. Tuck and the Tuck Chiropractic team in February 2009. He started in our Hillsville location in 2009 and moved to the Peters Creek Location in 2010, where he has been practicing since.

Dr. Skinner’s decision to become a Chiropractor was an easy one since he grew up in a town full of Chiropractors and Chiropractic students. He realized the value of Chiropractic care at an early age, dealing with multiple sports injuries and getting treatment. He eventually decided to become a chiropractor because he wanted a career where he was helping people improve the quality of their life. “Chiropractors can help people heal and get out of pain naturally, without the use of prescription medication and other invasive interventions.” He also loves that as Chiropractors, “We have the ability to be people’s health care advocates, whether we can help them directly or not. We can really help steer people on the right direction.”

Dr. Skinner belongs to the American Chiropractic Association and is an active member of the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association. He is also active with the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Skinner loves providing Chiropractic care to a wide variety of patients and really enjoys being involved in the Roanoke community. In his spare time he likes to exercise by playing hiking, running, lifting weights, playing basketball and playing golf.
